Girls’ tennis: Sherman Oaks Notre Dame’s Avery Aude wins MVP award

For the second time in her high school career, junior Avery Aude of Sherman Oaks Notre Dame has been named the Mission League MVP in girls’ tennis.
Aude also won the award as a freshman.
Aude’s father, Rich, was a standout baseball player at Chatsworth who made it to the major leagues with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
“It’s pretty exciting,” Rich said of his daughter.
