Lacrosse: Loyola wins Southern Section championship
The U.S. Lacrosse Southern Section champion in boys’ lacrosse is Loyola High.
The Cubs defeated Corona del Mar, 10-6, in the championship match on Saturday at Placentia Valencia.
Mason O’Hanlon scored two goals and had two assists. Loyola is the first L.A. team to win the championship.

In the girls’ final, Mater Dei defeated Oak Park, 15-4.
