Venice High is one of the few schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District with regular access to a certified athletic trainer, and this week the school became the recipient of the National Athletic Trainers' Assn. Safe Sports School award.
The award recognizes secondary schools that provide safe environments for student athletes.
