Alemany running back Okalani Langi scored three touchdowns and the defense intercepted three passes in a 45-28 victory over Corona Centennial that proved the Warriors are legitimate Pac-5 Division contenders.

Langi, a junior transfer from Crespi, scored on runs of 1, 3 and 13 yards -- the last giving the Warriors (4-0) a commanding 45-21 lead on the first play of the fourth quarter. He also tipped several passes on defense.

“That’s my thing -- those short-yardage situations,” Langi said. “That’s when I’m at my best.”
