Up next for the Kings: Thursday at New Jersey
Kings tonight
AT NEW JERSEY
When: 4 p.m. PDT.
Where: Prudential Center, Newark.
On the air: TV: FS West. Radio: 1150.

Update: The biggest news, other than the Kings finally playing a regular-season game on North American soil, is the return of forward Dustin Penner. He will play on a line with Dustin Brown and center Mike Richards. Penner sat out the opening two games of the season because of a lower-body injury. The Kings on Wednesday worked another deal with their favorite trading partners, the Philadelphia Flyers, acquiring forward Stefan Legein and a sixth-round draft choice in next year’s draft for future considerations. Legein is expected to be assigned to the Kings’ minor league affiliate in Manchester, N.H. Goaltender Martin Brodeur is expected to start for the Devils.
