Santa Ana Mater Dei (10-2) vs. Ventura St. Bonaventure (11-1) at Ventura, 7 p.m. (Prep Zone): Top-seeded St. Bonaventure has turned to standout running back Zachary Green, who scored four touchdowns and rushed for 195 yards in 33 carries last week against Santa Margarita. The Seraphs will rely on their offensive line to open holes for Green and protect sophomore quarterback Ricky Town in this Pac-5 Division semifinal. Mater Dei, led by improving linebackers JC Genova and Grant Moore, will try to disrupt the Seraphs. Junior quarterback Chase Forrest has been handling the playoff pressure like a senior. The pick: Mater Dei.

Bellflower St. John Bosco (8-4) vs. Long Beach Poly (9-3) at Veterans Stadium, 7:30 p.m. (Fox Sports West): St. John Bosco is 12-0 on the field and has one of the best defensive lines in Southern California. Poly will need to figure out a way to run the ball successfully in a Pac-5 semifinal. St. John Bosco has its own effective ground game, led by Darren Walker. The pick: St. John Bosco.

Upland (12-0) at Corona Centennial (11-1), 7 p.m. (Prep Zone): This Inland Division semifinal has been anticipated for weeks. Both teams have strong offensive lines and have received exceptional play at quarterback. Centennial junior Robert Webber has 30 touchdown passes and just one interception. Upland senior Nate Romine has passed for nearly 2,500 yards and rushed for nearly 1,000 yards. The pick: Centennial.

Carson (6-6) at Harbor City Narbonne (12-0), 7 p.m. (Time Warner Cable, midnight): After losing its first six games, Carson is on a six-game winning streak entering a City Section Division I semifinal. The problem for the Colts is that Narbonne is focused, healthy and isn’t about to take any team lightly. Narbonne defensive lineman Paulo Lepua has 19 sacks. The pick: Narbonne.
