Would you want Lance Armstrong’s life? [poll]
Let’s imagine for a moment that you are about ready to be born. Someone comes to you and says he can guarantee the following:
You will be a world-class athlete.
You will be a multiple champion in your sport.
You will retire wealthy enough from competitions and sponsors that you will never have to worry about money for the rest of your life.
You will be considered a national hero.
You will raise almost half a billion dollars for cancer research.

But after you retire, there will be overwhelming evidence that you cheated to win. You didn’t commit any crimes, per se, you just violated the rules of your sport.
Because of that, many people will consider you a fraud and a phony, and when you die, your obituary will lead with the fact you were a drug cheat.
Do you take that deal?
