Watch NHL players wish Gordie Howe a happy 85th birthday
Mr. Hockey, the man of so many milestones, has one very big birthday coming up Sunday.
Yes, Hall of Famer Gordie Howe will be turning 85.
To acknowledge that memorable day, the Hallmark Network crafted a birthday video, paying homage to the legendary Howe. The Hallmark Channel will soon be showing, “Mr Hockey: The Gordie Howe Story,” set to debut on May 4.
The birthday video has greetings from several NHL players, including Kings captain Dustin Brown, the Ducks’ Teemu Selanne and Sheldon Souray and the entire Detroit Red Wings team.
Selanne, naturally, steals the show. “Hi Gordie, Mr. Hockey, happy 85th birthday. You’re the man,” says Selanne, smiling and pointing at the camera.
