USC basketball players D.J. Haley, Kahlil Dukes have minor injuries
USC freshman guard Kahlil Dukes from Hartford, Conn., and 7-foot center D.J. Haley, a senior from Palmdale who transferred from Virginia Commonwealth, missed practice Friday with minor injuries.
The 5-foot-11 Dukes has a strained left hamstring and Haley a sprained neck. Coach Andy Enfield expects both to be ready by mid-to-late October.
USC’s opening game is at Utah State is Nov. 8.
