The Clippers aren’t the only ones who’ll be sporting new threads on the hardwood next season.

The Atlanta Hawks, fresh off a strong season that culminated with an Eastern Conference finals appearance, unveiled new uniforms via Twitter on Wednesday.

The new-look uniforms feature bolder colors, including bright red and an almost neon-looking yellow the Hawks are calling “volt green.” In addition, the jerseys and shorts have a triangular pattern.

Fan reaction to the Hawks’ new uniforms has been mixed. Based on comments posted to the Hawks’ Twitter account, it seems most fans don’t like the new look. An Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll has so far found 55% of fans don’t care for the new colors and uniforms.

It’s like Clippers owner Steve Ballmer said last week in response to fans upset with the Clippers’ new logos and uniforms: “Change is always hard on some people .... But the truth is people get through change.”

What do you think of the Hawks’ new uniforms?
