Joe Maddon buys beer for Rays fans in Long Beach bar
Tampa Bay Rays Manager Joe Maddon is one of the most popular managers in baseballs. Last season, in an anonymous poll of players that asked them to choose which manager they would like to play for other than their own, Maddon won. And after what he did Tuesday in Long Beach, you have to figure that fans are in his corner too.
After the Rays ended a losing streak with a 7-1 win over the Angels, Maddon sent out a tweet telling Rays fans to join him for a celebration at a bar in Long Beach.

No word on how many people took him up on the offer.
