Linebacker Daniel Green commits to USC’s 2017 recruiting class
Daniel Green, a linebacker from Madison High in Portland, Ore., announced his commitment to USC on Thursday.
Green, 6-feet-3 and 225 pounds, chose USC among offers from Arizona, California, Colorado, Colorado State, Hawaii, Oregon, Oregon State, Utah and Utah State.
He is a three-star recruit, according to Rivals and Scout.
Five other players have committed to the Trojans’ 2017 class: Linebacker Juliano Falaniko from Pago Pago in American Samoa, safety Bubba Bolden from Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas, tailback Stephen Carr from Summit in Fontana, receiver Marlon Williams from McGill-Toolen in Mobile, Ala., and Randal Grimes, who has played receiver, defensive back and quarterback at Desert Pines in Las Vegas.
Recruits can sign a letter of intent on Feb. 1.
