Update: The Lakers have beaten Minnesota 21 consecutive times, the NBA’s longest active winning streak. The Timberwolves have been in a skid for more than a month, losing 13 of their last 17 games, including a 116-94 loss to the Lakers at Staples Center on Feb. 28. The Lakers play at Milwaukee on Thursday, concluding another back-to-back set for them. They haven’t swept one yet, something they never failed to do in their previous 64 seasons.
