Boys’ basketball: Spencer Freedman selects Santa Monica as his high school

Spencer Freedman, considered to be one of the best incoming freshman point guards in Southern California, has decided to attend Santa Monica High, his father, Bryan, said Friday.
The 6-foot Freedman has been one of the best players on the travel ball circuit for his class.
His decision gives Santa Monica a guard trio that will be hard to top. He’ll join senior Nuwr’iyl Williams and junior Jonah Mathews.
