ESPN analyst Jon Gruden, who coached in the NFL for several years before becoming a commentator, says he hasn’t received an offer to coach the Tennessee Volunteers.

Memphis TV station WREG reported Tuesday that Gruden was weighing a Tennessee offer that would give him a part ownership of the NFL’s Cleveland Browns, who are owned by Jimmy Haslam — brother of Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam.

Gruden said Wednesday on ESPN’s “Mike & Mike In The Morning” show there is “no truth” to the report.

“I’m just excited about ‘Monday Night Football’ and getting ready for the Giants and the Redskins,” Gruden said. “I don’t have time to get into all that stuff. I like what I’m doing and I’m just trying to hang on to the job I have. Let’s leave it at that.”

Gruden coached the Oakland Raiders from 1998 to 2001 and Tampa Bay from 2002-2008, leading the Buccaneers to a Super Bowl title in his first season with the team.

Tennessee is looking to replace Derek Dooley, who was fired on Nov. 18.
