Crespi High jumped out to a 22-5 lead after the first quarter and went on to win a Del Rey League game at St. Francis High. The Celts lead the league with a record of 7-1. They are 12-6 overall.

Joe Campanella had 19 points for Crespi, while Brian Capp added 18. Jon Kirchner had 13 points and 8 rebounds for the Celts. The Golden Knights are 5-3 in the Del Rey League and 9-10 overall.

At one point in the second quarter, Crespi led 28-8. But by the third quarter, St. Francis had closed the gap to 38-34.

Crespi made 27 of 44 field-goal attempts and 19 of 27 free-throws.
