PREP BASKETBALL : Brown Is MVP of Freeway League

Buena Park High School point guard Reggie Brown has been named the Freeway League’s Most Valuable Player by a vote of the league coaches.

Brown, a 5-foot 7-inch senior, averaged 15.3 points and 5.5 assists per game for the Coyotes. The four-year starter is Buena Park’s career leader in scoring, assists and steals.

Buena Park’s Ken Bell, who coached the Coyotes to their first league title in 25 years, was named Coach of the Year.
