Point Loma Wins Tournament Game, 83-66

The Point Loma Nazarene College basketball team beat Nyack College of New York, 83-66, in the first round of the National Christian College Tournament on Thursday at Tennessee Temple University.
Point Loma Nazarene (26-8) will play George Fox College of Oregon today in the semifinals.
Deon Richard, a 6-foot 6-inch forward, led Point Loma with 33 points and 12 rebounds. He made 12 of 18 attempts from the field and 9 of 13 from the foul line. Greg Kimbrell, a 6-3 guard, added 18 points and 11 rebounds and 6-3 forward Steve Bruce added 12 points and 11 rebounds.
