Point Loma Nazarene Wins in Final, 74-69

Junior forward Deon Richard scored 23 points and had 11 rebounds Saturday night to lead Point Loma Nazarene to a 74-69 victory over Tennessee Temple in the National Christian College championship basketball game at Chattanooga, Tenn.

Steve Bruce and Dave Davis both added 13 points for the Crusaders (28-8), who were held scoreless for the first five minutes of the game but rallied behind the play of Richard.
