Canyon High First to Repeat in Poll

For the first time this season, a team has held on to the top ranking in the Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. prep baseball poll.

Canyon High School (6-0) received six of seven first-place votes to remain atop the rankings. Valencia (6-0), which got the other first-place vote, was second. Mater Dei (5-0), the only other unbeaten county team, was third.
