Moorpark Blanks Pierce

Jill McAuley tossed a seven-hit shutout to lead Moorpark College to a 4-0 non-conference softball win at Pierce College Friday.

Nancy Cermak had a run-scoring double and received three walks to lead the Raider offense. Catcher Dena Wood was 2 for 4 with an RBI single for Moorpark, which improved its record to 11-8.
