Slaught Leads Pt. Loma to a 10-3 Victory

Dan Slaught went 3 for 5 with five RBIs to lead Pt. Loma to a 10-3 win over Southern California College in NAIA District 3 play at Pt. Loma Tuesday.
Slaught hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning, and Marty Honea (4-4) went on to pick up the victory.
Pt. Loma improved its record to 7-2 in conference and 18-17 overall. Southern Cal College fell to 6-2-1 and 23-13.
Pt. Loma will play at Redlands University in a nonconference game Wednesday.
