El Cajon
A 21-year-old El Cajon bicyclist was seriously injured Wednesday when she was struck by a bus. Tina Lynn Arcouette was headed east on Broadway at 2:05 p.m. when she changed lanes to turn left onto Crosby Street, police reported. Arcouette was hit by a San Diego County Transit bus that was also trying to turn left. Arcouette was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition with massive head injuries. No other injuries were reported, and the accident is under investigation.
