Granite Hills High Moves Up to Second
For Granite Hills High School, a 6-3 win over defending San Diego Section champion Santana last Friday, was the impetus that helped move the Eagles from last week’s No. 4 spot to second in this week.
Santana, however, not only lost to Granite Hills, but was also beaten by Valhalla, to drop from third to fifth in this week’s list. Valhalla, meanwhile, moved from seventh to fourth.
Meanwhile, Patrick Henry won a pair of games last week to improve its record to 13-1 and hold on to the top spot. Hilltop also won two games last week and by improving their record to 12-5, made their first appearance in the Top 10 this year by gaining this week’s No. 9 ranking.
