San Marino High Swim Star Chooses Stanford

Kurt Kroesche, an All-American backstroker at San Marino High School, has signed a national letter of intent to attend Stanford on a swimming scholarship in the fall.

Kroesche holds the CIF Southern Section 3-A record in the 100-yard backstroke (52.01) and last month swam a 200-yard backstroke at the men’s U. S. Short Course Senior Championships in 1:51.28, one of the top prep times in the nation this year.
