Golden West Rallies Past Santa Barbara

Golden West College rallied from a two-game deficit to beat Santa Barbara, 10-15, 5-15, 15-9, 15-13, 15-11, Friday in a South Coast Conference volleyball game at Santa Barbara.
The Rustlers were led by freshman Steve Conti’s 27 kills and 12 blocks. Bill Brown added 25 kills and 9 blocks.
The victory ties Golden West with Santa Barbara for second in the SCC at 10-4. The Rustlers qualify for the Southern California Regionals to be held at Golden West, May 3.
