Fire Kills 5, Injures 16

EAST PITTSBURGH, Pa. —
Fire swept through a 29-unit apartment building today, killing five of its 31 residents, officials said. Sixteen people, most of them firefighters, were injured in the blaze, which broke out shortly after 2 a.m. at the three-story building.
