Toreros Rout Cal State Los Angeles
SAN DIEGO —
The University of San Diego women’s volleyball team won its second straight match Wednesday by defeating winless Cal State Los Angeles, 15-6, 18-16, 15-3 in the USD Sports Center.
The Toreros, who opened the season with six losses, were led by setter Leise Hagen, who had 29 assists. Junior hitter Gina Trapletti had 11 kills and 10 digs and junior hitter Lisa Elder added eight kills.
Cal State Los Angeles, which suited up only seven players, is 0-4.
