KEY PLAYS

Burbank’s quarterback Sal Velasco threw a 62-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Robert Jarrinwith a minute left in the third quarter giving the Bulldogs a 16-7 lead. Crescenta Valley came out after the half with a new quarterback-wide receiver combination of Carl Lomas and Geoff Thran. Lomas, who replaced first-half quarterback Mike Cho, completed three passes to Thran to give the Falcons their only score with 7:33 left in the third quarter.

Quarterback Sal Velasco (B) completed 13 of 21 for 190 yards including 1 touchdown run of 2 yards. . . . His brother, running back Abo Velasco, scored one touchdown, a 1-yard plunge. . . . Robert Jarrin (B) caught four passes for a total of 87 yards, includimg a touchdown. Safety Chris Silva (B) sacked Mike Cho in the end zone in the first quarter for a two-point safety.
