Water Polo Roundup : Campbell Scores Three Goals to Lead UCI Past Long Beach

The sixth-ranked UC Irvine water polo team defeated Cal State Long Beach Tuesday, 6-5, in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. match in the Belmont Plaza Pool at Long Beach.

Jeff Campbell scored three goals and J.R. Salvatore added a pair to lead the Anteaters, who lead the conference with a 4-1 record. They are 10-5 overall.

UCI will play UC Santa Barbara Saturday in PCAA action at Heritage Park in Irvine.

Rancho Santiago 23, Rio Hondo 5--John O’Neal scored five goals to help the Dons rout the Roadrunners in an Inland Conference match at Whittier. Rancho Santiago is 3-0 in conference and 14-1 overall.
