Quarterback Mark Moroski a six-year veteran with Atlanta and Houston, was signed by the Raiders as a backup for ailing quarterbacks Marc Wilson and Rusty Hilger. Moroski, 28, out of UC Davis, started five games last season for Atlanta but was cut and signed this year with Houston. The Oilers cut him last week. To make room for Moroski, the Raiders placed halfback Steve Strachan, who pulled a hamstring last Sunday, on the injured reserve list.
