LA Lutheran 10, LA Baptist 9 KEY PLAYS Lutheran’s Greg Rozsa blocked an extra point with 6:53 left in the game to give the Lions the victory . . . Baptist quarterback Jeremy Leach connected on a 65-yard touchdown pass to fullback Mark MacArthur to pull the Knights within one point in the fourth quarter . . . Baptist kicker Chris Bollier connected on a 30-yard field goal in the second quarter to give the Knights their initial points . . . Lutheran scored on their first possession when they marched 82 yards on 11 plays, capped off by Rozsa’s four-yard run.
KEY PLAYERS
Jeremy Leach (B) completed 9 of 15 passes for 121 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Fullback Mark MacArthur (B) carried the ball seven times for 50 yards and also had three receptions for 144 yards and a touchdown. Greg Rozsa (L) had 25 carries for 119 yards and a touchdown in addition to the blocked extra point. Scott Yurek (L) carried the ball 10 times for 38 yards. Quarterback Jeff Young (L) was 3 of 6 for 28 yards.
