Men’s Tennis Tournament Opens at UC Irvine

Three of the top men’s collegiate tennis teams in the country last year will compete in the Rolex Southern California Intercollegiate Tournament which begins today at UC Irvine.
UCLA (No. 2 in the nation last season), USC (No. 3) and Pepperdine (No. 6) are among the teams entered in the 13-team tournament. Other teams entered are: Long Beach State, UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton, Arizona, Arizona State, Loyola-Marymount, University of San Diego, San Diego State, United States International University and Nevada-Las Vegas.
The tournament will run all day today, Friday and Saturday. Final rounds begin Sunday at 10 a.m.
