Chapman Women Win in Volleyball

Chapman College beat Cal State Bakersfield in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. women’s volleyball match, 15-7, 15-10, 7-15, 15-9, at Orange Wednesday.

The Panthers (6-5, 23-13) were led by Pam Winokur’s match-high 16 kills. Teammate Mary Cahill contributed 13 points on serve. Chapman plays UC Riverside (7-4) Friday in their last conference match of the season with third place and a potential NCAA Division II playoff berth at stake.
