Community College Roundup : Grossmont Beats Fullerton to Win Classic Title

The Grossmont College basketball team took the championship of the eight-team Fullerton Classic Saturday with an 87-73 victory against host Fullerton. The leading scorers were Stevie Snow and Rocco Myers.

Cerritos 116, San Bernardino 81--The Falcons earned the consolation championship as freshman guard Willie Joseph scored a game-high 20 points. Cerritos center Tom Tolbert had 10 points, and guard Marlow Wadlington contributed eight assists. Cerritos advanced to the consolation final after losing to eventual champion Grossmont and beating West Los Angeles.
