Wright Resigns as Clairemont Football Coach
SAN DIEGO —
Nate Wright has resigned after one year as Clairemont High School’s head football coach. Clairemont was 5-5 this season, including a forfeit loss.
Wright did not say why he quit, but his letter of resignation to Athletic Director Hal Krupens indicated he might pursue a college coaching career.
Wright, who played defensive back for the Minnesota Vikings from 1971-80, was an assistant coach at UC-Berkeley before succeeding Steve Miner at Clairemont last summer.
