Whitfield, Ferrell in Cal State Los Angeles Hall of Fame

Olympic track gold medalists Mal Whitfield and Barbara Ferrell, and small college All-American football player Joe Womack head a list of eight sports figures who will be formally inducted into the Cal State Los Angeles Hall of Fame Jan. 30 during ceremonies at the Transamerica Center.

Others on the list are Suzi Iwami, badminton; Chris Kinard, badminton; Ron Knight, basketball; Ferron Loose, the school’s first athletic director, and Yolanda Rich, track.
