Arizona State Center Suspended

TEMPE, Ariz. — Arizona State basketball Coach Steve Patterson has suspended starting center Eric Holloway for the remainder of the season, Patterson announced Monday.
Holloway, a 6-foot 7-inch, 215-pound junior from Oakland, Calif., was involved in an altercation with a student manager after Saturday’s 83-61 loss to California.
Holloway is the team’s leading rebounder, averaging 4.8 per game, and most accurate field-goal shooter with a .556 average. He also is the team’s third-leading scorer, with a 10.3 average.
