Mount Carmel Returns to San Diego Top 10

SAN DIEGO — Mount Carmel High School is back in The Times’ top 10 of San Diego County boys’ basketball.
The Sundevils, who have been in and out of the rankings all season, won a pair of games last week to earn the No. 8 spot this week.
Coach John Marincovich’s team is 9-1 in the Palomar League (16-6 overall). Mount Carmel will have a chance to share the league championship Friday when it visits No. 1-ranked Poway. The Titans, who have been ranked No. 1 all season long, are 10-0 in league play.
