Saddleback Swimmers Sweep Past Cerritos

Saddleback College Friday qualified four swimmers for the state meet as it swept the Cerritos men (84-21) and women (79-47) in a South Coast Conference meet at Saddleback.

Qualifying for the state men’s meet were Rhett Chee Ping in the 200 individual medley (1:58.07) and 200 breaststroke (2:13.69), Jay Glossbrenner in the 50 free (22.24) and Kim Dellota in the 200 back (2:04.54). Kari Irvin qualified for the women’s meet in the 50 free (25.43) and 100 fly (1:03.53).
