Hilltop High School’s baseball team may not believe it, but Grossmont pitcher Lance Dickson has better stuff than he showed Tuesday afternoon in a Hilltop-Moose tournament game.

Dickson, a junior left-hander, threw a one-hitter to lead Grossmont to a 4-1 win over the Lancers.

“He had good stuff (Tuesday), but I’ve seen Lance pitch even better,” said Grossmont coach Bill Gray. “Actually, he was sharper last Saturday against Mount Carmel.
