Three Greater Los Angeles Soccer league teams will be taking part in California State Cup playoffs today at Daniels Field in San Pedro.
Inter-America, considered a strong contender for National Open Cup, State Cup and GLASL championship honors, opens the three-game schedule at 11 a.m. when it faces South Bay United of the Southern California League.
The second game at 1 p.m. finds San Pedro Croat playing Auto Bahn of the International League. The latter is coached by former Brazilian national team player Rildo Meneses.
At 3 p.m., the defending GLASL champion Hollywood Stars take on Nacional of Oxnard.
If any of the Cup games are tied in regulation, two 15-minute overtime periods will be played. If that proves inconclusive, penalty kicks will be used to determine who advances to the next round.
