Chapman Softball Team Splits With Sacramento St.

The Chapman College softball team split a doubleheader with Sacramento State Friday afternoon, winning the first game, 12-0, but losing the second, 4-3, at Sacramento.
Casey Tacason (11-5) pitched a one-hitter and had two triples to lead the Panthers in the first game. Tracey Case also had two triples for Chapman (21-10).
The Panthers were down 4-0 in the top of the seventh of the second game, but their rally stopped with the tying run on second. Chapman today plays a doubleheader against Portland State at Sacramento.
