Chapman Falls to Long Beach in Volleyball

Darren Feenstra had 20 kills Wednesday night to lead Long Beach City College to an 11-15, 15-6, 15-11, 12-15, 15-6 nonconference victory over Chapman College in a men’s volleyball match at Orange.
Ben Schmidt led Chapman with 31 kills. Chapman (9-22) plays host to LaVerne Saturday. Long Beach is 9-3.
In South Coast Conference play:
Golden West 3, Cal Lutheran 0--Freshman middle blocker Grayson DuBose had nine kills and six blocks to lead the Rustlers to a 15-2, 15-2, 15-9 win at Cal Lutheran. Golden West (5-2 and 6-3) plays at LaVerne Friday.
