Orange Glen Errors Give Escondido Win

ESCONDIDO — Five errors and five unearned runs helped Escondido High School’s baseball team to a 7-4 win over host Orange Glen Saturday.
Sophomore Andy Martin pitched a complete game to get the win for the Cougars (7-6). Escondido’s Jason Hobbs went 3 for 3 with an RBI, and teammate Nick Scales was 1 for 4 with two RBIs.
Orange Glen (6-4) was led by Frank Escalante (4 for 4 with two RBIs) and Paul Temprendola (3 for 3).
