Fullerton Sweeps SDSU in Softball

San Diego State’s softball team Sunday came within an inning of a doubheader split with the nation’s top-ranked team, Cal State Fullerton. But the Titans scored two unearned runs in the bottom of the seventh for a 2-1 win and a sweep in Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. action at Fullerton.
The Titans (13-2, 38-5) won the first game, 4-0. Susan LeFebvre (21-4) won both games, starting the first and relieving April Jones in the second.
San Diego State is 3-11, 13-25.
