SPRING SPORTS HIGHLIGHTS
Agoura 13, Calabasas 2--Marty Williams homered, tripled, drove in five runs and scored twice as Agoura remained unbeaten in the Frontier League.
The Chargers jumped on Calabasas starter Pat Fairly (1-4) for eight runs on eight hits in 3 innings at Calabasas. Williams highlighted a three-run first inning with a two-out, two-run triple. In the fifth inning, Williams capped a five-run outburst with a three-run homer to right off reliever Bryan Krute.
Agoura right-hander Jon DeGennaro (4-2) pitched a six-hitter, striking out 11. Agoura is 7-0 in league, 9-4 overall. Calabasas is 1-5 and 3-8-1.
