Sonora Keeps Top Spot in Baseball Poll

Sonora High School, which beat Fullerton twice last week to open a four-game lead over the Indians in the Freeway League, remained Orange County’s top-ranked team in the Sportswriters Assn. baseball poll. Esperanza, which holds a three-game lead in the Empire League, and Western, which has a three-game advantage in the Orange League, are ranked second and third, respectively.
