San Marcos
The slaying of an unidentified man whose body was found in a parked car Friday morning is being investigated by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, authorities said.
The dead man, described as a Mexican in his 20s, had been shot in the head. The body was found about 6:45 a.m. at Creek and Navajo streets, in a San Marcos commercial district.
The person who found the body told investigators that he saw a light-colored car cruising through the area and then he heard a loud noise. When he went to see what had caused the noise, he found the body, deputies said.
