CSUN Golfers 7th at Nationals
The Cal State Northridge golf team is in seventh place after the second round of the NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Tournament at Innisbrook Resort in Tarpon Springs, Fla.
Northridge has shot a 615 and is 22 points behind Florida Southern College, which is leading in the four-day tournament.
Lee Janzen of Florida Southern shot a four-under par 140 for two rounds to lead the individual competition. Northridge’s Tim Hogarth is ninth with a six-over par 150.
CSUN golfer John Levitt is 24th (154), Pat Boyd is 28th (155), Jon McGihon is 34th (156) and Wayne Tyni is 73rd (164).
